Just like with most brokers in the industry, the method you choose for depositing funds into your live account is typically the way you will also have to withdraw your profits. With Opteck, you have the following options:
Bank wires – This method allows you to transfer funds directly into your banking account, which completely eliminates the need for a third party company involvement. You get your funds safely and quickly.
Credit cards – All major credit cards are accepted. When you request a withdrawal via your credit card, you must keep in mind that you will have to request an additional transfer from your card to your bank account if you want access to your funds. Otherwise, your funds will apply towards your card balance.
Payment Gateways – These third party web transfers can be done via Webmoney and cashU. Note that Opteck does not offer withdrawals via PayPal at this time.
Wire transfers – These are available via Western Union. Additional delays as well as fees may be associated with this type of request.
How to Request
Requesting a withdrawal is as easy as logging in to your account and clicking on the ‘withdrawal’ button. This will take you to the request form where you will enter the amount you wish to withdraw as well the preferred method.
The minimum withdrawal request amount is set at $50, except for wire transfers where it goes up to $100. Opteck uses your choice of trading currency to set the withdrawal minimum, therefore, if you are trading in euros, your minimum withdrawal amount will be 50 euros.
Aside from Platinum, Black, and VIP account holders, all withdrawals are subject to a 3.5% service fee. If that percentage comes below $30, you will be charge a minimum of $30 regardless. The cap is set at $3,500.
Withdrawals take 3-4 business days to process.
